pretty happy with how our interview with wiz came together. i battled idiotic camera men to get this together. whoever would have a tripod > human? we had to kick this guy out of the interview, literally. then the dude who thankfully took over, decided to get artsy and rotate the camera 90 degrees in the middle of wiz giving us a shoutout. that alone made what should have taken me 10 minutes to put together a lil shoutout video, 5 hours.
the biggest gift ever to the music industry: social media
I dunno if our average reader will find this interesting, but me, being me n all, I find it really interesting. It’s also on topic, so I figured I’d post. A wide array of folks in the hip hop world talk about the internet and specifically social networking, the way it fits into todays promotional mix, and how it’s changed the game. It’s “the biggest gift to the industy… ever”.
Shouts to @ItsMotorMane… I spotted this over on BlogOrDiePGH, in the backend before he even posted it.

Happiest Wedding Cry In The World
This is a completely outrageous viral video, mash up, dance remix, funny thing. Audio and Video produced by the dudes @ChiDuly, @djcflo, and @DJDonk. Assuming you’re familiar with each of these videos from YouTube.. this is hilarious. What’s more… Ashton Kutcher tweeted it earlier today to his 5.5 million followers!
gang that.
Gavin – Summer In Love

Some Portland dudes who go by the name of Moxie Black (and are cool as hell) had a track leak today. I was all over that shit. RT’s and “likes” and comments and all that jazz. And THEN, Complex posted it’s “5 o’clcock” music joint. Basically they find 5 cool tracks that we’re posted on blogs that day. I was lead there cuz of Moxie Black’s track, and enjoyed that aswell as Posner’s new single and another indy artist by the name of Gavin.
