Well, I’ve been very underwhelmed by my Adsense CPC recently. Thats how much revenue is earned, per click. I noticed we were getting a solid # of clicks, but dogsh*t for each one. Adsense breaks its ads up into categories, and then lets you see how much traffic each category is getting (by %), and how much revenue its earning (also by %). You can then block the categories that aren’t doing well, so those ads aren’t displayed at all. Read more »
I wrote the following rant in response to my friends Facebook post about Android vs. iPhone… a comparison that I personally think is ridiculous, because it’s like comparing a Macbook to Windows 7. They are 2 very different things. Yet, EVERYWHERE on the internet, the comparison lives on. Here goes…
Androids are the shit. That’s no secret. When are y’all gonna realize that Apple has no desire to be “open”? They don’t wanna be the phone that anybody can put out an app on in hours. The iPhone is not for the techy nerds (like the 3 of us) who so badly crave OMG OPEN SOURCE I CAN DO ANYTHING IM 1337!!! iPhone’s are for consumers, because the general consumer demographic is a MUCH bigger one than the demographic that gives a shit about the conversation we’re having right now. Right? Right.
So Android now has 28% of the smart phone market and iOS has 21%….
iOS runs on the Apple iPhone on AT&T.
Android runs on 78 different smart phones on god knows how many carriers.

I check on this stuff every month or two. Google-ability is pretty important in getting the ball rolling for anything online. “Landforce” is a tough one. Just on the first page, I’m competing with Limo services, Trucking companies, and in the #1 spot, a very popular “addicting” online game called Land Force. Anyway, my Twitter has moved up to #5, from #7 last I checked.
